Call for Abstracts: Poster Session
You are invited to submit an abstract for a poster presentation at the TestSmart DNT open meeting November 12-14, 2008 in Reston, Virginia. Posters should focus on in vitro or non-mammalian alternatives.
Guidelines: (1)
Abstracts are to be submitted electronically via email to rbrady@jhsph.edu. Microsoft Word is preferred format, but any Rich Text Formatted document is acceptable. The abstract should not be more than one page (10-pt. type). This includes the title, body, author name(s), institution(s), and spaces.
The abstract may not contain tables, figures or chemical structures. Abstracts describing the results of experimental studies must answer two questions: “What was done?” and “What was found?”
Abstracts must contain the following:
· a statement of the rationale and scope of the study presented
· a brief description of the experimental procedures
· the data that resulted from the study
· principal conclusion(s) based on interpretation of the results
Submission Dates:
POSTER DEADLINE: September 30, 2008
We will notify you regarding acceptance on or around October 13, 2008.
Note: For students, academics, and government scientists whose abstract is accepted, the meeting registration fee may be waived if you so request.
