Cultured Human Endothelial Cells: Markets for Chemical Irritants

David Newcombe, MDC.M., professor of environmental health sciences at the Hopkins School of Hygiene and Public Health, is using cells taken from human umbilical cords to develop a test for chemical irritants. His results suggest such a test is feasible. He now is using the test to rank various irritants in order of potency.
