A Human Renal Cell Culture Model System for Metal Toxicity

With a newly developed cell culture using human kidney tubules, Sens will study the mechanisms of kidney poisoning caused by lead and other metals. She also will attempt to use the culture as the basis for an alternative test of kidney toxicity.
